I already mentioned one way universal health care could "fix" the problem. You noticed how the crooked doctors ran their private practice like a patient processing factory? Patients would come and doctors would just prescribe drugs without a second thought. Quick solutions are favored over the right ones.

Part of that is due to the "profit motive" that Michael Moore detests (except when it comes to his own documentaries). Eliminate that factor, and doctors ideally would have more time to spend with their patients.
