Baby steps I think. Disappointing that the protos only get 7 miles on pure battery. I suppose production would be better. I'm ready to buy.

The problem with LiON is that if you don't keep them fully charged, the electrodes oxidize. NiMH can be deep cycled, and in fact, if you don't deep cycle them they suffer from "memory" like NiCad batteries.
