You are mistaken, I've never condemned any of you for condemning heinous acts or for posting articles which expose heinous acts. That is the lie that your mentor keeps beating a drum over, and his choir of ignorant wannabees like to sing about. I condemn lies, bigotry, and hypocrisy which are expressed on this thread regularly and which you seem to expect will be excused in lieu of articles. There is no excuse for such things. Heinous and brutal treatment of innocent people is inexcusable, extremism is inexcusable, lieing for self serving purposes is inexcusable. That is what we both claim to condemn about Islamic extremists, that is what I condemn in general no matter who the perpetrators are. Sometimes I assume people are uninformed and give them some room to discuss ideas with me without condemning an idea that doesn't seem thought out. For example, when someone calls for a nuke on Mecca they may not be affluent enough to know who they are bombing, so I start with trying to inform them. Mecca is a city in Saudi Arabia where everything is owned by Saudi business men who, in most cases, don't live in Mecca. The people who work and live in Mecca are mostly foreigners willing to do the laborious work that no Saudi business man would do ... motel work, tourism, food industry, retail sales, transportation etc. Mecca's only real industry is tourism. Tourists come and visit from every nation of the world, year round. Many of the visitors are poor villagers from some place who have saved their whole lives for this trip, one of the five requirements of Islam. Many are uneducated and couldn't even intelligently discuss the religion of Islam, they just believe that there is a beneficent and omniscient creator of the Universe to whom they pray, that expects them to live according to principles of decency. Where else would you see millions of visitors coming together, from every nation, speaking different languages for a day or two and having relatively little conflict ... they are innocents. During a two week period of pilgrimage at least 2-3million foreign visitors enter and stay in Mecca, then leave. You might get lucky and strike a cell of men sitting around in Mecca trying to think of a way to terrorise us but you would be more likely to hit one of those cells by striking any American port city. When you nuke Mecca you will be murdering millions of innocent people from every nation in the world. What excuse do you give yourself for supporting such an idea? Because you hate Islam and Muslims? Because some Muslim has done some horrific thing and you want to prove you are more horrific? Yeah, I condemn that and the extremists who promote it, which has nothing to do with brian's articles, or Islam ... as I have explained repeatedly.
