I'll use small words so you can follow along....

Given the goals and tactics used in deploying the "surge" the troops are more exposed to enemy action this July than last July. So, it follows that overall casualties would be higher....however, as the surge has been fully deployed since June....the July decline in deaths over June's numbers while the surge has been employed is an encouraging sign.....especially if the numbers are consistent in the coming August....You can not meaningfully compare July 2006 with July 2007 because of the nature of the surge....

Even a moron like you should be able to follow that. And, I've noted that your silly comment about my comments and Sully's being inconsistent is just another example of your dishonesty and lack of intellectual capacity.
