So, you've already invalidated one of your claims-- you were off by 50% ! You realize you are actually claiming that it takes AMD *20* weeks from wafer start to shipped product?

In the post you are replying to, Petz described only second part, what happens after wafer is processed. He didn't cut his estimate in half.

No I didn't, I estimated the time from WAFER OUT to sale. Wafer start to wafer out is about 10 weeks. Dice, test and package is two weeks. If it's a new product there's no inventory delay.

4-6 weeks inventory delay is an AVERAGE.

Petz
