You are wrong. If anyone is ignorant about the Middle East, it is you.

Well, I know where to locate the local Starbucks in Dubai, do you?

Americans are well aware of the hostile, backward nature of Middle East Muslim/Arab dictatorships. Blah blah blah

You're going straight off topic, sweetie pie. And the rest of your rant was bashing against Muslims and Arabs, which had nothing to do with my point. Most Americans don't give a rats ass about Israel, and do not feel a need to strongly support Israel. Most Americans don't give a rats ass about Canada, much less the other side of the USA, much less some God forsaken battleground on the other side of the planet. Don't kid yourself! Your average American cares about as much about Israel as they do about Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Chechnya and Haiti - that is, a hell of a lot less than they care about whether Barry Bonds is going to hit a homerun tonight. Most Americans do not have a passport! Sheesh, why do you think your cause is something the rest of us give a damn about?

And you didn't discuss this point at all, evidently since you prefer bashing Arabs to bashing Israel. If Americans were asked "Do you support the policy of country A which allows the people of one and only one ethnic group to immigrate from anywhere on the planet to country A and gain the benefits of citizenship in country A, but this policy also denies the same citizenship to people born and raised in land controlled by country A solely because they are not in the preferred ethnic group of country A?" you'd get 98% of Americans opposed (if the grammar in the question was simplified!). Americans like to think of all men created equal, and not as one ethnic group entitled to something simply because of the religion of their mother.

Anyway...... all of the latest polls show strong, majority support for Israel.

Poll them on the question above and tell me the results. This I'd like to read.
