Researchers recently fit two of the red, yellow and blue-plumed parrots with satellite collars that send to computers information about their movements through the thick canopy of trees in northern Guatemala and southern Mexico. "Before this we were only able to look at scarlet macaws in their nesting habitat," said Zach Feris from the Wildlife Conservation Society running the project. "This new tracking gives us the ability to see the other half of parrot life," he said on Thursday. Scientists hope data from the special collars, which stay on the birds for over nine months, will show how far wild parrots can fly when they migrate. As you have no doubt guessed by now, frequency to the site and for that matter the internet are not much of a priority. Still, it is nice to come back and read up on what is going on in the news behind the news. I've found by experience that the more I read God's Word, the more questions seem to arise which is perhaps a good thing if what Moody wrote in the front of his Bible is true: "Reading the Word of God will keep a person from sin, but sin will keep a person from reading the Word of God."
