SrK, we all can spin it the way we want to. But it is important to note that the people are fed up with politics based on "suspicions", manuevering etc. etc. Obama during his reply (not as a post debate spin) made it clear that he is against the notion that not talking with them is punishing them, something like "America Almighty".

THat message was loud and clear for those who wanted to hear it.

Obama needs to think of politics as playing chess.

You anticipate the moves and in this case the questions and even the answers before going for the big move.

He is a very bright person but tends to speak too quickly------he needs to find a way to allow time to reflect on the questions while answering the question. This is a political skill that he or any candidate can learn.

As the Economist and others have noted Hilary won this one.
