Its a sad day when a person needs to move to Minnesota because its more conservative than Wisconsin. Can you believe that? This is a war worth fighting yet I think many residents will view this as progressive and beneficial to them. Each time a new tax is proposed they spin it in such a way that appeals to the middle and lower tax brackets OR as a tax that only impacts a small group like cigarette smokers. The other beauty is the limited time tax for a specific need that never gets pulled from the books. My business is 100% portable and I can sit back and suck money out of the state while living in a more tax favorable state. If this thing gets traction I'll move and make it my mission in life to suck as much money out of the state as I possibly can.
