I wouldn’t endorse military service as a prerequisite for voting or land ownership which was originally the case, but the voting public should be non-criminals, speak English, and not be on welfare. That isn’t very demanding. * * *

"Like in the fascist "Starship Troopers", where you had to serve in the military to earn it." That was the movie. Which was very fascist. The book, though, while superficially similar, was different. You had to perform some form of community service, of which the military was one option. "That would eliminate almost all the Republicans in Congress and in college!" Hmm. You do realize you are making a strong case for this method? After watching that Youtube clip, I dread our country being led by that group.
