But it turns out Dr. PAUL’s principles don’t apply equally to procuring pork for his Southeast Texas district. The Congressman is doing nothing more than what he was elected to do. Supporting his constituents and going to bat for his district. If he doesn’t get a share of the pie some other district will. Name one Congressman that does not do the same thing. That’s the way Congress operates – and you obviously want to continue the same program. Personally, the Congressman does not participate in the Congressional pension program, and he returns a portion of his annual office budget to the treasury every year, he has never voted to raise taxes or voted for an unbalanced budget.. He is fiscally responsible. Can you name anyone else in Congress who sets that example?
