Ed - Always appreciate your thoughts!

Re BZP - I have been scratching my head also trying to figure out what the seller(s) know that I don't. No doubt in my mind some institution investors were dumping shares in the month of July, especially the second half of the month. There were no lack of supply of cheap shares. BZP had three PP in 2006: a) March 06, 1.67 million shares at price of $3; b) July 06, 4.48 million shares at the price of $3; and c) 6.5 million shares at the price of $3 - IFC placement.

For a) and b), it is understandable for the holders to cash out some for the sake of rebalancing their portfolio. Not to mention it has been more than a year so LTCG taxes applied.

For IFC shares - is it possible there were some rules/clauses/conditions or whatever convenants that prevent IFC from holding both equities and debts of the same company? So they have to reduce their equity exposure on the eve of debt placement - just a wild thought/guess on my part. Where can we find that information?

And I am curious what motivated the short sellers last month. The short interest went from 700K to 3.6 Million. Obviously they are more intelligent than us faithful share holders, in the short term anyways.

The dumping at the end of today is amazing. What's the urgency to sell at the last day of July in the last minute? Very curious. Hope we can find out in the next few months, if not weeks.

If anyone can shed some lights, please do.
