We don't have an option not to fight...either we win in Iraq or the battle will eventually be fought in NYC or LA or both. They've clearly declared their intention to replace the infidel culture of the USA with the insane jihadist culture of fundamentalist Muslims. RON PAUL's ideas are unrealistic. Understanding the root cause of our problems, whether they are in foreign policy, education, health care, you name it – the answer is our dysfunctional government, bad laws and unintended consequences of those bad laws. Government and politicians are to blame and everyone wants to continue down the same road that brought us to this point. So you really don't think all the money being squandered in the Iraq war would be better served in securing our borders, improving our defense systems, putting in place real security measures for passage through our borders, and expanding our intelligence systems would not prohibit an attack at home? If we quit policing the world, I believe we would have no problems dealing with what would be an insignificant threat from Muslims.
