Don't think so about "free health insurance and Medicare"....the basic A premium is free , but Part B is nearly $100/mo, plus the two together don't cover everything, so one should get a good medigap policy, which helps, and also costs about %140-150/mo ....and then there are drugs....Medicare part D, no matter who administers it, costs about $70 or so per month, and there is a big problem if one gets really sick and the drugs are very expensive. BTW. there are co-pays on just about everything.

Maybe the people WITHOUT insurance, who run to the emergency rooms get medical care for free...but for the folks who try to do the right thing, and pay their own bills, there is NOTHING free about it!....

Because they already have free health insurance?
