NEW YORK, April 28 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ascend Acquisition Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: ASAQ - News, ASAQU - News, ASAQW - News; "Ascend"), a public company organized for the purpose of acquiring an operating business, announced today that Ascend and e.PAK Resources (S) Pte. Ltd. ("ePAK") have terminated their proposed business combination. Ascend was required to complete its business combination of ePAK by May 17, 2008. Pursuant to the provisions of Ascend's Certificate of Incorporation, Ascend will dissolve and liquidate as promptly as practicable.
