iraqi jews were a substantial minority and loved the place. I was responding to sarmans article about US arab jews. Hey i am a jew whose ancestors migrated here and i consider myself an american above all else. The arab jews sarman refers to got the surprise of their life when they got summarily kicked out of one country after another. Most found there way to israel and with few exceptions particularly among the now elderly, most had adapted very well. I hope i am not disappointed in the same way with the likes of bacchus, parsons, jsscab etc. IF my worst nightmare came true at least i would have a place to go.
