I don't think I am a qualified spokesperson but I'll throw at least two cents worth into it.

1) Sincere expressions of interests in the well being and love for the persons you intend to negotiate with. (Probably too much to expect)

2) Sincere statements of policy obligating our side to fair and just resolution of issues, with demonstrated good will toward that end.

3) Transparency of all issues. (Lay your cards out, this aint no poker game).

4) Patience and good listening skills.

5) Some training in formal hard core negotiation with Arabs.
