There was a coverup of the Tillman death. They made up a story that Tillman was valiantly charging the enemy when he was gunned down by enemy fire...and they awarded him a Silver Star.

His injuries of three shots to the forehead would have precluded any assumption of charging the enemy under fire. Army doctors asked for an investigation...but that was rebuffed.

The questions in this case are many. I believe that the answers will be few.

Since it was friendly fire...who fired the shots?

Who arranged for the Silver Star?

Who rebuffed Army doctors who asked for a criminal investigation?

All of these folks were engaged in a coverup.

The big question is...how high did this information get...and who made the decision to treat the death of Tillman as a heroic combat death.

These questions will be met with stonewalling and lying...no doubt.
