LOL -- no, treachery is pretending that we are on the right course when we are not. It is pretty widely understood that there is no military solution -- only a political solution. You show up with zero evidence of political progress and want to pretend that you can use the surge to justify your position if you can find any evidence that it is having an impact based on narrow military measures -- that is treachery.
