Make sure they have your state's equivalent of workers' compensation insurance. Check your own homeowners' coverage as well.

We had a new roof put on 2 years ago and it wasn't cheap. Then again the shingles we had put on ran $140 a square so this should be the last roof I have to put on. The guy had 8 crews working and had been in the business 15 years and had used these shingles only once before on a $3 million home.

How can you have a flat roof in WIS? What do you do with the snow in the winter?

This is about 1600 sq ft of flat roof and I'm still stunned to be honest.

Sign a contract fast, before they realize they misplaced the decimel point.
