Why Goldman?

This isn't about "believing" anything... it's not
about belief at all, because most people believe
things that are both real and imagined. It's not about "belief"...
it's about reality.

Make no mistake about it...
Goldman is the enemy.

But, that doesn't mean you can't both
respect and even admire your enemy.

First, they are the very best at what
they do. The very best and the very brightest.

Secondly, they have access to information that no one
else has... and they have a lot of it.

Thirdly, while Paulson's travel schedule was
planned long ago, his being in China right now
is a benefit - given what's happening in the markets.

And yes, you must have balls the size of watermelons
and the heart of a lion to make the trade. But, you
can also sell the puts and use the cash to buy your calls.

The markets have corrected hard and sharp. There is
limitless money and limitless commitment to stop the
carnage very soon, if not right here -- right now.

Doesn't mean it's over... althought for now - it may be.

It's not a bet the farm trade. But, it is one that
you won't hear anywhere else. And it's also a teach
you to fish - versus serve you a fish on a silver platter
lesson.

Given the way we've played the gold sector... we can
afford to take a flyer or two...here and there.

Yes, this is a bit of a flyer. But, favor shines
brightly on the bold and money loves both speed
and courage.

We shall see.

This is just the first move. And in this market
you'd better be thinking at least three moves ahead.

It's not over. But, it is time to...

"Stand like mountain -- flow like water."

This is about trading out in front of the market --
not behind it.

It's about anticipation -- not reaction.

It's about leading -- not following.

And in the fullness of time, you shall see.
