Israel with its jewish character intact and living in peace with its neighbors will be the focal point of mideast resurgence starting with the economy. You know the china story well--the mideast sitting on sand and oil misses out on its greatest asset, its people. Peace will set them free and Israel will become the driving force in creating a Mideast EU.

Re nadine --she started as a realist but when does realism turn ito cynicism? I dont think she is one of those likudnik jews looking for greater israel, certainly if once she did, not anymore. She could be for peace once trust is restored and so could the arab version of nadine who is yapping right now on some other thread about peace cant happen. Its great for me, you and Sarman to settle things here. It aint no easy task to get the leaders to do it however.
