I think you covered it, Hawk. You are right - as far as probabilities go, I'd number your choices "1-2-4-3". The possibility (4) that today's pre-close rally was a "C" weighs pretty heavily on my mind, even though I don't think it is the most likely choice. That would be (almost?) immediately bearish.

If the down impulse is completed, then the first target (for 2 or B) is the top of Wave iv - which would be yesterday's highs -- approx. corresponding to a 38.2% retracement of the decline to date.

Of course it could be B of a flat correction starting here, or B of a triangle.
