I went long VLO. Very short term August calls. I think they will ramp thing up a bit and clear out some shorts.

13,200 dow is the line in the sand for the fed

Did you notice the disparity between spx and dow all day? Normally 10/1 points but today the dow would only drop like 30 or 40 and the spx was down 100....instead of 30-40.

While lots up a bit, pm, I don't see things really charging out of the gate much.
DOW gains held to 55-60 at best and then selling kicks back in not long after open

Heavy selling today. This eod bounce will probably be just about it. 30 minutes doesn't account for much. I expect more of the same tomorrow- just with some rotation and less intense.
DOW going red around 10 am.
