Gold Trend? If this isn't DEAD MONEY - then tell me what is? If your mutual fund couldn't outperform the broad market- you'd trash it after a year of dead money- now wouldn't you? Of course you would. It's now been 15, going on 16 months - of not just DEAD MONEY- but, of significant underperformance of the broad market. But, yet the gold bugs insist on clinging to distant memories. Long live 1980! REALITY CHECK This is just a one year chart. If we took it from the May 2006 highs the chart would be even uglier than it already is. Denial isn't a river in egypt. Ron the realist.
