I was up early doing some baking, and I'd already had a pot of tea :-) It's hot here, so the only time I will bake is early morning.

I have done a batch of blueberry scones, and a pan of brownies. It's my daughter's 18th birthday this weekend, and we're going on a picnic to the beach with her friends. My poor son, on the other hand, gets his wisdom teeth out tomorrow, so I'll give him some brownies today by way of a last meal. Blindfold and cigarette to follow.

It's 5pm here, and I'm on some coast, although not sure which direction. I can see the sunset, so I guess it's the West Coast! The East Coast is Saudi Arabia - yikes!
