Ah, better still. In addition to watching and commenting on the hearings et al, we could revisit the "what is the center" debate. Now that's worth several thousand "fascinating" posts all by itself. ;-)

There are so few active posters on SI who seem to belong to a genuine group of undecided swing voters that the debate would hardly matter. But it's in the nature of independents to stay quieter, decide late in the campaign and not make a lot of fuss when they flip the lever in the booth.

So most of the rhetorical space is occupied by those with more partisan passions.
