I'm not saying they shouldn't try to get along. It would be in their best interests to do so. And though I do get the joke, and your point, the squabble isn't about something as arbitrary as left-handedness. Yeah, I understand that for them it's a lot more important. The thing is that for us, the land of all men created equal, it is unimportant. So we might as well express our view of their little petty fight to them. They can go ahead and kill each other for as many generations as they want. We don't have to respect their desire to do so.
