Anyone who actually 'says that' is either lying... or else DEEPLY misinformed.

(You are CONFUSING your terrorist groups. The one you are thinking of [in the 'NE of Iraq'] is a Kurdish 'terrorist group', that was actually supported by the US [protected by our 'no-fly' rule, among other things] because the objects of their attacks were IRAN and SADDAM's IRAQ. "al Qaeda" was not there in that area. Our 'no-fly' rule kept Saddam's tanks off of them, and deterred Iran from trying to wipe them out across the border. :-)

I guess since we don't effectively control either our northern or southern border it's aok for someone to attack us also under his twisted logic.
