(You are CONFUSING your terrorist groups. The one you are thinking of [in the 'NE of Iraq'] is a Kurdish 'terrorist group', that was actually supported by the US [protected by our 'no-fly' rule, among other things] because the objects of their attacks were IRAN and SADDAM's IRAQ. "al Qaeda" was not there in that area. Our 'no-fly' rule kept Saddam's tanks off of them, and deterred Iran from trying to wipe them out across the border. :-) "So Bush was right to invade iraq ?" Not by your logic shorty (presented above), since it's based on a falsity. LOL!
