If we are to accomodate religion in public schools, then we have to find a way to accomodate any and all religions. If accomodation takes place, why is this an assault on one particular religion? This is the dilemma that leads many to say: "no recognition of religion, period" in public schools or buildings.....which, frankly, is silly.

Should Muslims be given preferences? No. But schools up here have Christian fellowship clubs that meet on School grounds (maybe there is a muslim fellowship as well, don't know). It doesn't bother me.

as for morality...one man's morality is another man's straitjacket. Clinton and Vitter both are kinky guys. So is toe-sucking Dick Morris. And all those thrice-married republican candidates.

How would you define morality for legislative purposes? Or do we leave it to the family to manage and control?
