a) I wasn't arguing for a "national policy" on "private sex practices." As usual, that's just another straw man from the guy who tosses out the "straw man" accusation the most.

b) Both policies use government to counter poverty. The former seeks to counter monetary poverty, while the latter seeks to counter moral poverty. Neither is particularly effective, but that won't stop liberals and conservatives from erring on their respective sides.
