WOW! Is almost all I can say.
NOK soars almost 9% in a day and we have less than 10 (but good) comments!
If this was QCOM it would be at least 200.
During the summer I sold off some NOK and other stocks (but made a lot of profit) due to some unusual technical/administrative reasons and I would like to get back in but where do you find a good entry point here? I can't even find a good place to "park" my cash in this crazy market.
Question: when a company like NOK (or QCOM) has billions (more than me) in cash, where do they "park" 'em? Banks give no real interest and can't even protect your deposits beyond FDIC.

Eric et al,

Paul Jacobs has said, and I paraphrase, that as the court cases finish it will force qcom and nok closer to an agreement. Of the pending court cases I believe that an ITC decision on nok's alleged use of qcom patents in 2gsm will happen first. It would prevent nok from exporting 2gsm phones to the USA. My understanding is that the United States represents only a small % of nok revenue, maybe 5% or so if memory serves. I did not listen to the last nok CC. Does nok have big plans and hopes for new phones in the USA? Have they regained some the US market share they've lost in the last few years? They've gained market share pretty much everywhere else.

My question is: If qcom prevails at the ITC how much of a lever is this against nok?

A question I have not seen posed is: Would an ITC ban prevent nok from exporting any gsm phone to the USA since they no longer have a WCDMA lic with qcom and every phone they would export to the USA would have a 2gsm mode?
