For the first time, I have been confused by a frequent player rewards program. Now that I am playing mostly cash games, I have finally accumulated enough points to move up Poker Stars reward pyramid. They have some nice prizes. However, one prize, free entry into either the $400,000 Sunday Warmup Tournament or the $1 million Sunday Million, require exactly the same amount of points. The last time I looked, a million bucks was worth more than $400,000. The concept must be that there are either fewer players in the warm up, or that it is easier competition. But, the truth is, both are longshots. Why not go for the bigger payoff?

Oh, well, I still have a few months of playing cash games before I qualify, so maybe I can figure it out by then.
