No I am referring to partisan extremists (like you) on both sides. Our system works in complex and risky situations when we collaborate and various view points are given respect so that we can come up with solutions that are in the best interests of our country. That's called being united in our stand. We are not. You corrupt extremists have sabotaged the system so thoroughly that we are bound to fail in polarized conflict, in the long run, unless or until decent people of conscious bravely rise up and kick you and your type to the curb. I don't see it happening ... yet. Most people in the country are riding on laurels, comfortable with the status quo of superpowerdom. However, we've become a nation of fat consumers who produce nothing the rest of the world wants and are denying it is any sort of problem while we've sunk to 29th in math and sciences achievement. The history of the world has demonstrated repeatedly that whoever comes up with the better technology defeats the previous title holder. We have the best techno but we wont in future generations because we've wasted our resources.
