I only use steel cut oats for oatmeal. The reason I do is because my husband has a slightly elevated blood glucose reading and we have to reduce the amount of carbs in his diet. Steel cut oats have fewer carbs and more fiber.

It is expensive, but he's worth it. ;)

I make a large batch and refrigerate it, so that he can dip in and nuke in the morning. He gets up at 5 and I don't do mornings. Always adds blueberries.

What I do is make a bunch and then just eat off it for a few days. It goes down like cement so it sticks.

This market is about to roll over and do battle with 12900. When it goes below 12900 it could get fugly. 12600 is a 10% correction but I think we go lower than that
