Nadine let me add that Mr Buffet specialized in buying UNDERVALUED companies and sitting tight till the market changed its perception of those companies. He is a very long term investor.

Most investors are subject to the Short term whims of the market...they are sweept along by the tide.

The creation and distruction of credit is that tide.

Credit is a funny thing ...its all in the mind.It can be created out of thin air in moments of confidence and can just as easily evoporate in a moment of panic and fear.

ROTFL....Nadine are you as sucessful as warren buffet?

Not hardly...but I can say with some modestly that I made a good bit of money during the boom and didn't lose it in the bust, and this was due to whatever I gleaned from Warren Buffet's example of buying undervalued companies and selling overvalued companies and never mind market perceptions.
