which put a huge hole in the manmade global warming theory Huh? Didn't that piece say that cooking fires are causing global warming? How does that contradict the notion that global warming is manmade?

Lindybill; Soot From Cooking Fires Melting Himalayan Glaciers I thought the glaciers aren't melting! That was the argument made by many here last time I approached the subject - so maybe we are making progress. .......The fact that there is more than one reason glaciers are melting should be obvious - that doesn't mean that there isn't global warming however. Talk about your inconvenient truths! Scientific American elaborated on the study's findings (emphasis added): Scientific American had a full spread article on global warming in their most recent issue - there is no question in the article as far as where Scientific American stands! there are solutions that don't require raising taxes, destroying industries, and killing the economy. Yup! For every problem there is an answer that offers reward for the ingenuity of those working on the problem. I went by a wind farm in Eastern Oregon yesterday that would blow your socks off as to its size. It's clean not choking our kids with pollutants and does not force us to play in the killing fields of the ME. WE could be the worlds leaders in alternate energy - if we only had the will! steve
