Why do I have to tell Stockman that? They really aren't my business any more than what you think is- unless something particularly interests me and I make it my business, but I can't do that with everything. What matters to me is when my own views get twisted. What anyone else believes is not my responsibility. I am not, nor do I wish to be, my brothers post keeper. I tried that wrt politeness, and I got nothing but grief for it- so I gave up. Not interested. I do not hold you responsible for the posts of others, or for bringing the truth to anyone else. Would appreciate the same from you. Our opinions are quite enough, without importing other people in to the equation. I don't think the army is full of psychopaths. Everyone in my family has done military service, and as far as I know none of them are psychopaths, nor did they meet any. I have never said anything like that about our military. I do expect them to have about the same percentage of criminals as the general population. You know, if you have to put a bunch of posts of mine together to make up something I didn't actually say, you're probably off target. If I thought Bush were to blame for something, or that the army was full of psychopaths, I'd certainly say it. Timidity is not one of my faults. What you do is read my posts and make all sorts of inferences, and much of the time I would never dream anyone would make some of the inferences you do. I really don't think I need to take responsibility for your inferences, when my posts fail to imply what you infer. I think what "people" are interested in is making reality fit their preconceived notions- and one of them seems to be that I am some extremist liberal "like all the others", so my posts, even when they don't fit, can be dragged here so you can bash liberals generally. I don't go for conspiracies, of any sort, I don't particularly like the figureheads on the left, and it's silly to confuse me with folks like AS, whom I have quit disagreeing with, because there's just no point.
