The issue is the Bushie criminals and traitors who got us into the quagmire in Iraq and continue lying about it and profiteering from it. The Democratic congress is going to win big next year again, and is doing the right thing, but they are not a monolith, and are not perfect. The Founding Fathers created Congress as the Peoples' reps to counter the power of any out of control power-abusing executive branch. The Fathers gave them impeachment powers to use to remove any corrupt president or VP. Pelosi has been restrained on impeachment but the outrageous dishonesty and criminal arrogance of Bush-Cheney, Gonzales and the rest is bound to convince the democrats to take the gloves off and deal with these crooks and bullies the way they must be dealt with. On the other hand, the Democrats cannot appear to be over-reaching as the GOP did with the ridiculous Whitewater investigation. Come September, you will soon see a whole series of very clear and understandable high crimes, treason, etc. that Bush-Cheney and his mobsters are guilty of. Then American People will understand who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. It's very clear. for whatever Dems faults might be, they are trivial compared to these crooked bunch of Bushie traitors.
