As the primaries draw closer, people will start talking about Hillary's electability against the Republican likely nominee. She is trailing Obama in that area. In some states even Edwards is doing better than Hillary on that scorecard." JMHO---------- Hilary has a lot of negatives in her past that will no doubt become a part of the 2008 general election if she is nominated. Is she programmed? Hilary is mainly self- programmed, she wants power and to be President-----. The image that Hilary gives, right or wrong, is that her staff is not going to tell her what to think and do---nor anyone else. Does she rely on staff---------certainly not clear that she does. Anything that comes out of Hilary's campaign likely has her imprint in spite of some denials. Similarly, Obama has his personal programming-----he wrote his books to introduce himself speaking from the heart. The introduction is now over. Obama is still a connumdrum-----a puzzle--------that is what people are attempting to sort out. For most voters, its not enough for candidates to speak from the heart. E.G. Jimmy Carter spoke from the heart but was not imo up to the job of President of the USA. Obama needs to translate the heart to precise positions stating his positions precisely and in detail-------he cannot leave this to staff. There will be more debates, more chances to clarify, he must determine those positions for himself------if he needs an editor fine but don't let the editor, staff speak for you. The common programming that Hilary and Obama share is the programming of the Democrat Party of recent years which moved to the left. This could present a major problem in the general election as the majority of the populace is not imo left leaning. mj
