first place to look is at the state budget... i am sure the money was put in to repair the bridges,, maybe even federal money to help. Wonder where the tax payer money went each year. Perhaps public transportation like higher pay, teachers higher pay, state workers higher pay, plus let's pay 100% of their benefits, and give them early retirement. next check more social programs, next check the federal money coming back to states that representatives fight for to build new roads to no where.
