Grantham is very smart. But C is head and shoulders above most competitors, as far as conservatism goes.

It may be a good time to buy the SDP, a ProShares short fund that is double the inverse of the Dow Utilities Index. money.iwon.com I think these things have had a juicy rise, given that rates are going up, the infrastructure sucks and most of the utility companies are junk credits. Why not just short the utility stocks? Because most pay dividends and individuals do not receive a rebate on their short sale cash. Pro Shares does receive a rebate and, in fact, has a decent net yield.
