Obama hits Clinton for defending her taking of lobbying money. Clinton said no one can really believe she would be influenced by lobbyists. She then said Washington lobbyists represent real people. And she will continue to take money from those groups.

Obama pounced and deflected criticism from Dodd. He said, paraphrasing, You can't really say you weren't influenced by taking that lobbying money.

Edwards then surveyed the crowd to see how many have Washington lobbyists. A spattering of hand arose and he noted how few, telling the majority. "You are not represented by Washington lobbyists."

LIAR! The GOP Governor of Minnesota recently vetoed a road and bridge repair bond the democrats were pushing. Bush-Delay cut funding for the New Orleans levees to send the assets to Iraq. Bush-Cheney cut safety standard vigilance resulting in the Sego Mine disaster. The list goes on and on. Public safety is not something Bushies care about one bit until AFTER the disasters happen. Then all talk no action.
