It's summertime Uncle. It takes too much time to trade, then post all such trades, keep up with my baseball games and spend some time in the sun. So, I just don't have the time to track the portfolio on line.

If one is going to show a profit in a bull and bear market, then one is going to have to play the short side of the market. I don't know any other way.

When going long, I look for high volume wide range bull bars. It indicates institutions are buying and the odds are good that price will rise in the near term.

When I go short, I look for high volume, wide range bear bars. It indicates that institutions are selling and the odds are good that price will drop in the near term.

Whether long or short, the strategy calls for following the money.
