Tell that to the 9/11 victims.

I would gladly tell each and every victim of 9-11 that we are fighting an elective war in Iraq. I would tell them our attention to the terrorist in Afghanistan has been diverted by the mess in Iraq which had nothing to do with 9-11. I would tell them that the people who killed Americans for the most part came from Saudi Arabia and were trained in Afghanistan - not Iraq. I would gladly tell them that we could better protect Americans by spending money here in the US instead of nation building and giveaway projects in Iraq. I would tell them that if we are indeed at war, that the enemy should be identified and that all - ALL - Americans need to contribute to the war. I would tell them that because this is an elective war that while Americans party, while Americans spend and sink into debt to party on, that a small portion of the American public serving in the military are the ones paying for the price of keeping America free.
