This is a very giving country with 2 little problems - Our press and our politics. If you will indulge me, we have a third problem and it is substantial - academia. The Media - Academia complex has clearly replaced Eisenhower's Military -Industrial Complex. To paraphrase Ike: (In the councils of local, state and federal government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the Media-Academia complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.) The average american has yet to fully appreciate the threat of daily media falsehoods, misdirected journalism plus the academia's revision of history and their un relentless effort to brainwash versus teach.
