People argue whether republicans are worse or democrats are worse, mainly because they don't know what good is. They are both bad. The leadership of both parties think the average American is a moron. In many cases they are right. People are going to argue over which nimrod presidential nominee is better, instead of being suspicious of both.

I just wish the American people would awaken from their stupor and realize both parties are corrupt and incompetent. Unfortunately the party leaderships appear to have the average American's intelligence level pretty well figured out. It is very easy to redirect the people's attention away from important issues and onto meaningless ones.

Sorry, I don't play your little game of Manichaean politics. <ng> I challenge you to find any post where I have made any claim of the GOP being "better" than the Dems on the issue of fiscal responsibility, or anything else. On the other hand, I find the idea that Clinton & co. was somehow the model of fiscal probity risible.

One party, two different names. The purpose of our elections is not to decide who rules, but to legitimize the system that wins no matter what. The purpose is social control, not choice.

There are those whose fealty to the beliefs of one's father block an otherwise clear vision of reality. There are those who benefit from our current system, national socialist though it may be, and so they choose a so-called side. And there are those who don't care in an intellectual sense, and so they support one of the so-called sides out of propiniquity on a set of social and personality characteristics. I am not in any of these camps.
