"He's a genius all right. " What he fails to note is that for the case of Mars, the mechanism is the albedo has changed. Because of high winds lifting the light dust off the darker substrate, Mars is warming, based on computer models that use the albedo. So the temperature change is not a measured value, but is a modeled one. And the model is not based on greater insolation, but on albedo change. In other words, at least for Mars, his conclusion is built on hot air. cbc.ca The guess about greater insolation is also faulty. Because, you know, we have been measuring it with a great deal of accuracy for a long time. It is something we would have noticed.
