"But a mandate to only breastfeed, I will be right there with you waving a protest sign."

Doesn't seem like we are at that point------good this is being discussed.

Me too. You can't make people do things like this- that's just wrong- it's an invasion in to the zone of privacy. Advocating breast feeding and not pushing bottles on women, and choosing to give formula only when asked, when in a public facility, does not strike me as such an invasion.

On matters like this, it would certainly be wise of politicians, to just keep their nose out of it! Education as to health, fine. But no mandates.

What does Bloomberg know? And why does he think he can shove mandates down our throats, so to speak?

If companies who produce Baby Formula want to give it away, they can. Every street corner is out there. Grocery stores allow producers of product to give samples away every day. Choice.

As far as gay partners are concerned....I don't care what they do in their own homes. Leave me and mine alone, and don't bleat their experiences all over the airways. None of us need to hear about others sex lives for any reason. Most of the straights don't have parades. Nor find any reason to do so.

As far as the gays raising children....the "experiment" is still out....and will be for the next generation.

Free love was an experiment too....and look where we are a generation or two from that....

Our government expenses are FAR more expensive, because children didn't have the proper medical care, emotional care, nurturing care, or much of anything else. If they did, the taxpayers wouldn't have to be paying such high taxes to care for them.
