maybe we will see the President Ford $2000 tax credit for buying a new built home to get the business going again. As i remember you had to live the home, for two years, and if you moved within that time, you had to buy another brand new home otherwise you lost the credit. irs had a ball doing post audits on the public catching thousands who took the credit but got relocated because of job transfers etc.. and didn't but a brand new home with the two year period. boom, bust,, boom, bust.
